The refrigeration/defrost system as well as the air-distribution system that compose the experimental facility employed in this project have been discussed in Part I of this paper. Part II provided a detailed description of the instrumentation used and the data-acquisition system employed in the experimental program. This paper (Part III) describes the testing procedures and data-reduction methodologies used to determine the heat loads due to coil hot-gas defrosting.
