Full Description

Specifies material, design, properties (including test methods), and marking requirements for portable petroleum-product fuel containers made of metal or plastics, and of capacity up to and including 25 L. It applies to containers for the storage and transport of fuel, and fuel tanks for boats. The containers are suitable for use with both unleaded and super grades of petrol, distillate, two-stroke engine fuel, and kerosine, but are specifically excluded for use with racing fuels. See more
