Full Description

Specifies general safety requirements for household and similar electrical appliances. It is a base Standard which, when combined with a particular standard in the AS 3300/NZS 6300 series, becomes a complete standard for the particular appliance. It is based on IEC 335-1:1976, 2nd edition, including Amendments 1 to 6. It is identical with NZS 6300:1996 and produced as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard. See more
