Full Description

Within the general scope defined in Section I of the Introduction, B30.1 applies to general purpose, portable jacks of the following categories: hand- or power-operated hydraulic jacks, mechanical ratchet jacks, and handor power-operated mechanical screw jacks. Jacks designed for automotive service, trip-lowered jacks, and those that are an integral part of other equipment are not included in the scope of this Standard. Devices designed for static support rather than lifting are not included. See more
