Section IV contains rules that cover minimum construction requirements for the design, fabrication, installation, and inspection of steam heating, hot water heating, and hot water supply boilers that are directly fired with oil, gas, electricity, coal, or other solid or liquid fuels, and for operation at or below the pressure and temperature limits set forth in this document. Similar rules for potable water heaters are also included.
