ASSE (Plumbing) Series 15000 Historical

ASSE/IAPMO/ANSI Series 15000 was developed to establish a level of competency for the inspection, testing and maintenance of water-based fire protection systems beyond the requirements of NFPA Standard 25.

The Series 15000 provides minimum qualification criteria and applies to a qualified individual who provides inspection, testing, and maintenance for water-based fire protection systems in compliance with installation, inspection, testing and maintenance standards. This individual will be referred to as "field technician" in this standard.

The purpose of this standard is to provide minimum qualification criteria as defined by the scope.

This standard applies to field technicians only. This standard does not apply to a person who is performing an engineering evaluation. See more
