This method provides for the quantitative determination of technical permethrin preservative insecticide in solid form and in wood treatment solutions. The methodology requires utilization of High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) with ultraviolet (UV) detection.

The method is applicable to the determination of technical permethrin and in permethrin concentrates where the concentration is 20 wt% or higher.
