La présente méthode a pour objet de déterminer la masse conditionnée des tissus. La méthode est particulièrement destinée à être employée en laboratoire.

La masse du tissu est calculée habituellement par mètre carré de tissu ou par mètre linéaire de tissu pleine largeur.

La présente méthode peut nécessiter l'emploi de matériaux ou d'équipement dangereux. Le présent document n'entend pas traiter de tous les aspects liés à la sécurité de son utilisation. Il appartient à l'usager de la méthode de se renseigner auprès des autorités compétentes et d'adopter des pratiques d'hygiène et de sécurité conformes aux règlements en vigueur avant de l'utiliser.
