This standard covers the general requirements common to all fibreglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) products intended for use in corrosive industrial applications. These general requirements outline the minimum acceptable parameters for materials, laminates, design, fabrication, and inspection (Note 1).

It is the responsibility of the user to determine whether the intended application of the equipment to this standard falls within the requirements of the pertinent regulatory authority.

Appendix B describes Quality Control levels, inspection and reporting.

Appendix C describes Quality Control Guidelines.
