Preface:

This is the harmonized CSA and UL standard for particular requirements for hedge trimmers. It is the first edition of CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 60745-2-15, and the first edition of ANSI/UL 60745-2-15. This Standard is an adoption, with national differences, of the identically titled IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) Standard 60745-2-15, (edition 2.1, 2009-06).

Scope:

This Standard applies to hedge trimmers which are designed for use by one operator for trimming hedges and bushes, utilizing one or more linear reciprocating cutter blades. This Standard is not applicable to hedge trimmers with a rotating blade. See more
