This is the second edition of CAN/CSA-E60335-2-3, Household and similar electrical appliances — Safety &mdash: Part 2-3: Particular requirements for electric irons, which is an adoption, with Canadian deviations, of the identically titled IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) Standard 60335-2-3 (edition 5:2002 consolidated with amendment 1:2004). It supersedes the first edition published in 1994 as CAN/CSA-E335-2-3 (adopted CEI/IEC 335-2-3:1993). At the time of publication, IEC 60335-2-3:2002+ A1:2004 is available from IEC in English only. CSA will publish the French version when it becomes available from IEC. See more
