CSA Preface 

This is the first edition of CSA ISO 59010, Circular economy — Guidance on the transition of business models and value networks, which is an adoption without modification of the identically titled ISO (International Organization for Standardization) Standard 59010 (first edition, 2024-05). For brevity, this Standard will be referred to as "CSA ISO 59010" throughout. This Standard was reviewed for Canadian adoption by the CSA Technical Committee on Circular Economy, under the jurisdiction of the CSA Strategic Steering Committee on Organizational Management and Sustainability, and has been formally approved by the Technical Committee. This Standard has been developed in compliance with Standards Council of Canada requirements for National Standards of Canada. It has been published as a National Standard of Canada by CSA Group. 

Scope 

This document gives guidance for an organization seeking to transition its value creation models and value networks from linear to circular. This document is applicable to any organization regardless of size, sector or region.
