Details test and examination criteria for gas hose connectors suitable for connecting portable outdoor gas-fired appliances to fixed gas supply lines containing natural, manufactured or mixed gases, liquefied petroleum gases or LP gas-air mixtures at pressures not in excess of 1/2 psi (3.45 kPa). These connectors are intended for use in unconcealed outdoor locations unlikely to be subject to excessive temperatures [above 200 F (93.5 C). See more
