1. Scope

1.1

This Standard covers the dc electrical installations not exceeding 50 V between conductors on boats.

1.2

This Standard applies to boats that are not required to be certificated by the Department of Transport.

1.3

The requirements of this Standard are based on CSA Standard C22.1, Canadian Electrical Code, Part I. Where no specific requirements are given herein those of the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I, shall apply.

1.4

This Standard does not apply to the internal wiring of outboard motors. See more
