Preface:

This is the first edition of CAN/CSA-E61951-1, Secondary cells and batteries containing alkaline or other non-acid electrolytes — Portable sealed rechargeable single cells — Part 1: Nickel-cadmium, which is an adoption, with Canadian deviations, of the identically titled IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) Standard 61951-1 (third edition, 2013-10).

This Standard has been developed in compliance with Standards Council of Canada requirements for National Standards of Canada. It has been published as a National Standard of Canada by CSA Group.
