History of ASHRAE DVD: 100 Years of Engineering for The World We Live In ✓ Most Recent

This DVD describes the founding of ASHRAE's predecessor societies, the American Society of Heating and Ventilating Engineers and The American Society of Refrigerating Engineers, in 1894 and 1904, respectively. The issues of the time, the technological challenges and the people involved are described in a story format befitting of the time. Additional segments cover the research laboratory, the merger of the two societies to form ASHRAE and recollections of leaders in the Society on the impact of ASHRAE on the industry, the public at large and their careers.
