Scope

Specify what information is required and in what format, when supplying transformer test reports through an electronic, computer readable medium.

Purpose

Purchasers of transformers are requesting the associated certified test reports in many different formats. It would be in the best interest of all concerned to standardize on the required information and format in an electronic medium because errors could be introduced when a supplier of this informnation must go from one format to anotherre; the terms used in describing data in the test report can be misleading; and a standard format will make the development of test report data generating and data analyzing software easier, more efficient, more accurate and more widely available.

Abstract

New IEEE Standard - Superseded. Superseded by IEEE Std C57.12.37-2006 A basis for the electronic reporting of transformer test data on liquid immersed distribu-tion transformers as defined in the ANSI C57.12.2X standards series is provided. The specific setof test data to be reported and the format in which it is to be reported is detailed along with an ex-tended set of data as an option for the user. See more
