Scope

Update the withdrawn standard to reflectg new test methods and add necessary theory of test. Update and improve terminology.

Purpose

Improve the theory of test and expand area of test coverage, update terminology. Intended users: equipment manufacturers, utilities, machine designers, specification authors. Benefits: Better explanation of test procedure and testing.

Abstract

Revision Standard - Inactive-Reserved. The power factor tip-up testing of stator coils and bars for use in large electric machinery is covered in this recommended practice. See more
