Update reference standards, technical review for consistency with IEEE 1 (work in progress), change "temperature class" to "temperature index", change "systems tests" to "materials test", and revise in accordance with IEEE Style.

Purpose

To maintain technical consistency with reference standards and insulation material standards development.

Abstract

Revision Standard - Superseded. Reaffirmed September 2007. Principles for the development of test procedures to evaluate the thermal endurance of solid electrical insulating materials in air are given in this standard. See more
