This Technical Report describes the different simplified short tests for the determination of the exhaust smoke emission of diesel engines of vehicles in service. Gives terms and definitions. Annex A describes the test methods. Annex B gives the working conditions of the engine during the measurement. The annexes C to K describe further details.
