The white paper introduces a newly standardized weight supporting wiring device consisting of a receptacle and an attachment fitting.  The coupling method is intended for a ceiling mounted luminaire or paddle fan.  The safer wiring device is now covered by the National Electric Code and ANSI/NEMA WD 6 standard.
