• Descriptions for component manufacturers identification, product ratings, fluid power symbols, and certain warning statements common to particular components.
• Application only to service with air as the medium
• The following pneumatic components:

  • Cylinders
  • Directional control valves
  • Filters
  • Flow control valves
  • Lubricators
  • Regulators
  • Relief valves

This standard does not include information on how to incorporate or apply components in a system (i.e., what is the appropriate selection of components or their use).
