Psychrometric Analysis, Version 9.0, allows for complete psychrometric and process analysis, all graphically displayed on beautiful charts with unmatched accuracy. The program also provides a professional state point and process report detailing the psychrometric and process values. Both I-P and SI units are fully supported by the program.

This program includes ASHRAE Psychrometric Charts 1 through 5 in I-P units and Charts 1 through 7 in SI units. The program allows the user to plot typical psychrometric processes and perform the corresponding energy calculations. The program produces near-exact replications of the charts and can output a listing of points and processes in a tabular report with calculated properties and energy values for each.

The software also allows for a great deal of customization—users can change any chart property lines to any color, line type, or thickness; use custom colors; draw shapes; and add images. It also allows users to import data from Excel (.csv) files with full control over the color and size of points and lines.

Version 9.0 includes more than 40 updates and bug fixes to Version 7 of Psychrometric Analysis. Some of the updates include:

• Added data zones from the 2015 and 2021 Thermal Guidelines for Data Processing Environments by ASHRAE TC 9.9.
• Added worldwide ASHRAE climatic data from the 2017 and 2021 ASHRAE Handbook—Fundamentals. For 2017, weather data for over 8000 cities were added. For 2021, weather data for over 9100 cities were added.
• Added 2023 U.S. TMY3 weather data from the Climate.OneBuilding.org database that includes 8760 hourly data for thousands of cities in the United States.
• Added comfort data from ANSI/ASHRAE Standards 55-2017 and 55-2020.
• Added additional ventilation data that includes data from ANSI/ASHRAE Standards 62.1-2016 and 62.1-2019.
• Includes a brand-new feature called "templates" that allows users to store an unlimited number of psychrometric chart look-and-feels.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Windows-based 486 computer with at least 32 MB of memory and access to the Internet to download the 300 MB zip file. This software is compatible with Windows 7, 10, AND 11. It is not compatible with Mac-based or Unix-based systems. This program must be installed on the user's desktop as an application; this is not a web-based tool.

LICENSE AGREEMENT: Purchasing this product indicates your acceptance of the terms and conditions of the license agreement stated in this section. The title and all copyrights and ownership rights in the program and data are retained by ASHRAE and Carmel Software. All psychrometric charts produced by this software are copyright ASHRAE. This software uses algorithms that are generally accepted by the heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning (HVAC) industry and, as such, the results of these calculations should yield acceptable results for use in general HVAC work. You assume responsibility for the selection of the program and data to achieve your intended results and for the installation, use, and results obtained from the program and data. The Multiuser License Add-On expires one year from the date you receive the product registration code (which you are prompted to request via the program after installation). After one year, unless renewed (repurchased), the Psychrometric Analysis program may only be accessed within your company by one person per single-user download purchase. The annual renewal must be for the Multiuser License Add-On, not the Multiuser License Add-On Upgrade. When you purchase this multiuser product, ASHRAE grants you a nonexclusive license to install and operate this software on one network server and operate the software on no more than the user limit provided by the licensing you have purchased. In addition, ASHRAE grants you the right to make an archive copy of this software and to use that copy to reinstall the software in cases where the original copy has been corrupted or destroyed. This is a license agreement, not a sale of the original program or copies thereof. Carmel Software retains all rights to the program and any and all subsequent copies that exist regardless of their form. Reproduction of this software by parties other than Carmel Software for reasons beyond those specifically stated in this license agreement is strictly prohibited by international copyright laws.
