SAE ARP 1282A Historical

This SAE Aerospace Recommended Practice (ARP) establishes the minimum contents of and suggested supplements for survival kits for transport category airplanes flying over water areas during airline service.

The purpose of this document is to establish criteria for the minimum survival equipment ot be carried with life rafts or slide/rafts on transport category airplanes. The minimum equipment is appropriate only when an approved radio frequency (RF) signaling device is available for deployment with the raft(s) or slid/raft(s). See more
