This paper presents a single psychrometric chart that can be used at any pressure, that the humid mixture provided behaves as an ideal gas . Thus, in the case of air, the need for several charts, each for a different altitude, is eliminated. Furthermore, the one chart is valid not only for air but for any dry-gas mixture, such as diving gas mixtures (of helium and oxygen, for example, for which it is applicable to pressures up to 600 psia (4 MPa, or diving depths of 1300 feet).

Furthermore, an interactive computer code PSYCH is presented, which can be used with ease, in lieu of or in conjunction with the chart . The software can be used with either conventional or SI units.
