ASHRAE Standard 147 establishes practices and procedures to reduce the inadvertent release of halogenated refrigerants.These practices and procedures cover release reduction of halogenated hydrocarbon and halogenated ether refrigerants from stationary refrigerating, air-conditioning, and heat-pump equipment and systems, and during manufacture, installation, testing, operation, maintenance, repair, and disposal of such equipment and systems.
