ASNT SNT-TC-1A (2001) Historical

The latest update of ASNT's guideline to personnel qualification and certification in NDT, SNT-TC-1A (2001), features many additions including: a clear and concise definition of "written practice"; requirements for the predictive maintenance (PdM) basic examination and body of knowledge; format and guidelines for evaluation and documentation of technical performance; and the timeframe in which a candidate must complete experience requirements. In addition, this edition offers training outlines and recommended references for the Laser Testing methods of holography, shearography and profilometry. SNT-TC-1A (2001) continues to provide training outlines and references for all methods, and outlines and references for creating a Basic Examination.
