RP-137 -- Developing Application Criteria for the Air Distribution Performance Index (ADPI) ✓ Most Recent

The objective of the research project described in this paper was to determine and identify a range of ADPI values which provide satisfactory living and working conditions in various types of occupied spaces, by both subjective and instrument field evaluation.

To accomplish this objective data were taken in general offices and school classrooms in Manhattan, Kansas, Seattle, Washington; Reno and Carson City, Nevada; and Tucson, Arizona. Data were taken in the four geographical areas to evaluate the significance of different design criteria.
